Today, 1 July 2019, marks a big update to how Arim works.
Duels – Your opponent and map are now displayed on the scoreboard on the right of your screen.
TnT Wars – Bomber kit and Melee kit are more balanced.
Kit PvP:
Map 2 is updated!
Ninja deals no KB and can use smoke ability by pressing drop (Q).
Swordsman has the bulls charge ability by pressing drop (Q).
SkyFactions:
TnT is fully functional and dangerous!
More items are added to the shop.
Auto-sell chests are implemented.
Once you have a chest in your inventory, use /asc to get your auto-sell chest, which, when placed, will automatically sell off any potatoes, carrots, wheat, cacti, sugarcane, rotten flesh, bones, gunpowder, or string when one of those items enters itself by way of hopper. You may only have 1 auto-sell chest in operation at a time.
General:
/vote grants $30 for voting. You may vote once a day.
/buy is changed.
Tablist display is improved.
Finally, world loading uses less performance and back-end data loading is drastically enhanced. (Though you probably won't notice, this means the server runs faster!)
Freezeball has been added to Snowman. The ability will create a temporary sphere of snow where the thrown freezeball lands. Throw the freezeball by clicking (not rightclicking!).
Fish ability, for Standard kit, has also been added.
Full changes
Freezeball added. Snowman's snowball will fire a 1-second cooldown snowball when rightclicked. When leftclicked, it will shoot a freezeball, with a 22-second cooldown.
Snowman takes more damage from fire.
Standard kit now has 1 ender pearl, on a 16-second cooldown.
Standard kit's fish ability, accessible by clicking (not rightclicking!) the fishing rod, will reel in enemies in your crosshair with a 6-second cooldown. The fishing rod works as it would normally when rightclicked.
Summoned wolves (Werewolf kit) now require 2 hits to be killed, regardless of attack/damage type/amount.
Paladin's poison 2 potion, Gladiator's weakness potion, Standard's ender pearl, and Snowman's snowball permamently remain in your inventory when used. Each item is on a cooldown, and will not have any effect if the ability has not cooled down yet. Each item can be moved throughout the inventory at will, and they will never replace any mushroom stew.
Hex cooldowns tweaked – decreased cooldown for a miss from 22 to 20; increased cooldown for a hit from 6 to 9.
On Saturday, July 29, 2017, a massive update to Arim was released. The new update brings lots of new features, fixes, and improvements. KitPvP saw a completely new rewards system, TntWars has a new special treat, and the chat has been completely revamped.
KitPvP – More updates, more kit abilities, and more fixes/additions.
The cooldowns have undergone a complete recode. The Pyro kit has the ignite ability. Gladiator, Archer, and Pyro all have a grappling arrow which is fired upon left-clicking the bow. Wizard has its same abilities, although they have been slightly improved. The retreat ability has been added to Gladiator, Sniper, and Paladin. While being attacked, you may block with your sword, 'retreat' as you are flinged backwards, while your opponent is given a small bit of slowness to prevent them from immediately rushing after you. Pioneer has leap ability. Also, in KitPvP, a new check was added to prevent players from combat logging. The purchase kits GUI was updated and fully recoded. Now, it is impossible to accidentally purchase the same kit a second time.
SkyFactions – Bugfixes. A great deal of bugs and glitches in SkyFactions have been fixed.
Survival – Bugfixes. A glitch relating to clicking the home icon in the survival GUI was fixed. Another bug having to do with teleportation was fixed.
